[Something is wrong on the train.

Rakka knows it, but she can't put a finger on it. It's just been too quiet, too still, like everyone that's left might be hiding themselves away.

But she doesn't know why, or what's going on, just that something is wrong, and it's making the odd little girl nervous.

[Today, the scent of roasted turkey, stuffing, and other such iconic holiday foods is wafting all through out the train, beckoning you to one central car. And the scent certainly does not lie - a huge feast has been set up in this car, on an impossibly long table where the food seems plentiful and looks divine.

[One of the cars today is completely dark, but it is far from quiet. In a corner there's a small girl, sobbing quietly. Weirdly enough, she has her shirt off (but has a camisole on) and several of her books scattered around her as though she's thrown them ( Read more... )

[Rakka is a strange girl. If that hasn't been obvious yet, it will be now. Because the girl is hanging upside down on a bench in an old fashioned passenger car, reading a book, her bare feet up on the window and a small radio near by playing some kind of soft pop music.

[On the message board, a page out of one of those weird journals that have been floating around has been torn out and stuck on it with a tack. Of course the language it's written in is unreadable to pretty much everyone on the train, but there's a smudged drawing of what looks like a little girl from behind. The problem? It's smudged with blood.

[Rakka was settling in to living on the train surprisingly well. She'd found a car that was really similar to her Relto from back when she was still working with the DRC, which of course she felt right at home in.
